La Fina amfora
‘La Fina amfora’ is an organic red wine, with biodynamic orientation, from the DO Terra Alta (Catalonia) made up of 100% red grenache. The must undergoes a fermentation in French oak casks of 4000 ltr. at 25-26ºC using autochthonous yeast, the wine is aged during 7 months in 740 liter terracotta amphoras, and is bottled unfiltered and without clarifying.
Clean and honest aromas of a high quality grenache. Deliciously light bodied, textural wine full of ripe red fruit (in liquor) mulberry jam, delicate floral notes of lavender and lilac, minerality, and an organic background that talks about a minimum intervention in its elaboration.
To fully enjoy, decant this wine energetically and let it stand for a couple of hours before tasting it.
Limited production of 4500 bottles.
