On the nose, this Crémant de Bordeaux offers an aromatic bouquet mixed with subtle notes of citrus and orange blossom. The palate is tasty, with fruity aromas and delicate fresh and fruity notes. It leaves a full, long finish.
Grape varieties: 40% Semillon, 40% Muscadelle, 20% Cabernet Franc

Purchased in 1825 by the Medeville family, the current owners, Château Fayau produces a whole range of wines. It is also the vinification and bottling center for the vineyards run by Jean Medeville's sons and grandsons. This group of vineyards includes: in the Premières Côtes: Château Fayau, in Cadillac; Château du juge and the vines of Château Greteau, in Haux; Château Boisson in Béguey; in the Graves (under lease): Château Pessan, in Portets; Château Boyrein, in Roaillan; Château Peyre-Blanque in Budos and Château Puy-Boyrein in Roaillan; and in the Sauternes area: Château Barbier, in Fargues. Château Fayau is a charming chartreuse surrounded by vines in the heart of the city of the Dukes of Epernon: Cadillac. It now commands 41 hectares of vineyards.
