The property extends on 7 hectares. Located in
the west of the commune of Pomerol, the soil is
siliceous on the surface. At a deep level of about
50 cm, there is a compact material called
"machefer", which limits the rooting and
contributes to the specificity of Pomerol wines.
Merlot is the predominant grape variety (almost
100%). The whole vineyard was rebuilt after the
1956 frosts.
