Cobertizo Expresión
Mencía selected from various Pagos de Valtuille de Abajo, the best vines for processing and maturing mencía in French and American oak barrels. South-facing slopes at 500 to 600 m above sea level with calcareous clays and crumbly shales and a yield of 5 000 kg/ha. Harvest in late September/early October. Produced using traditional methods and controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The character and distinctiveness of a wine with its own name. It has not been cold-stabilised. Precipitation may occur. Presented in 12 recyclable cardboard boxes.

Base: Crianza red wine.
Aging: 18 months in French and American oak barrels. Bottled unfiltered.
Variety: 100% Mencía.
Alcohol content: 14 % vol.
Appearance: Intense cherry red colour.
Aroma: Original with a delicate aroma of cherries and cocoa. Herbal notes and hints of wood.
Taste: Long and enveloping with excellent acidity and ripe tannins with a long earthy finish.
Food Pairing: Veal, pasta, lamb, poultry, cured meats and Iberian cured meats and roasts.
Recommended serving temperature: 16-18 °C.
