Cobertizo Mencía Joven
Selected Mencía from 22 hectares of vineyards in different Pagos of Valtuille and Cacabelos, on south-facing slopes between 500 and 600 metres above sea level, with a base of red clay, sand and slate and a yield of 6,000 kg/ha. Harvest end of September, beginning of October. Produced using traditional methods and controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Character and personality for a wine with its own name. It has not been cold stabilised. Precipitates may appear. Presentation in recyclable cardboard boxes of 6 and 12 bottles.

Varietal: 100% Mencía.
Alcohol: 13,5% Vol.
Appearance: Intense cherry red cherry colour.
Nose: Fruity with aromas of black forest fruits and mineral notes.
Palate: Tannic, meaty and tasty. Tasty, balanced and persistent.
Food Pairing: Veal, pasta, lamb, poultry, cold meats and Iberian cured meats, meats and roasts.
Recommended Serving Temperature: 16-18ºC.
